DIVERSE
Friederike Kienle is comfortable conducting both concert and operatic repertoire. She is equally at home in Italian opera lirica and in operas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart through to Kurt Weill and Paul Hindemith. She has conducted opera productions in Bulgaria at the State Opera Rousse and the State Opera Bourgas and in Japan at the Sapporo Opera Festival. Kienle rises to the challenge of every score, even those beyond the standard repertoire. She is open to contemporary music, digital formats and sophisticated light music, even across genres.
